The Center Dixie Boys 14U undefeated state champs are headed to the World Series on Aug. 2 in Bossier City. Members and their families are taking donations towards travel expenses for the tournament. If you're interested in making a donation, make checks payable to Center Youth Baseball, P.O. Box 991, Center. Corporate sponsors will receive banner recognition with their names on the League Banner. After a rain-out last Friday, the boys will be out around the Center Square accepting donations today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
