In Louisiana, a gallon’s averaging $3.39, down six cents in the past week. Nationally, the average is $3.59, which is a nickel from the same time a year ago. Here at home, checking prices this morning in Center, the lowest we found was $3.44 at Wal-Mart, down a penny in the past week.
