Funeral Notices: 7/16/14

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces a graveside service for 75-year old Patricia Ann Crawford of Center. She passed away Sunday at her residence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. this evening at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Powdrill Cemetery in Center. Among Patricia Ann Crawford's survivors are, her husband, Don Crawford of Center; children, Thomas Ashley Kinsel, Jr. of Ft. Stockton, Ruthe Ann Porter of Waco, and Patricia Allison Merchant of Panama City, Florida; brothers, Robert L. Kirkwood of Hondo and William Kirkwood of San Antonio; sister, Royce Woodard of Houston; and step-father, Benjamin Holleman of Houston.

 

Rose Hills Mortuary in Whittier, California announces service for 78-year old J. Tom Steele. A military service will be held Thursday at Rose Hill Mortuary in Whittier, California. He grew up in Timpson and Center. Among J. Tom Steele’s survivors are his children, Jim, Debbie and Tracy of California, with local survivors, nephew, Charlie Mac Bussey; and nieces, Mary Lou Lout of Center and Barbara Windham of Bossier City.

 

Sid Roberts Funeral Home of Nacogdoches announces service for 88-year old Jewel Dean McCoy Lane of San Augustine. She passed away last Saturday. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Reed Chapel Baptist Church in San Augustine, with burial at Mosaic Cemetery in San Augustine. There will be two visitations, from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at Sid Roberts Funeral Home in Nacogdoches, and 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Saturday before service at the church. Jewel Dean McCoy Lane is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Clay Watts of San Augustine; sons, James E. Clay of San Augustine, Calvin Clay of Houston, and Jerry Lane of San Augustine; step-son, James Lane, Jr. of Hemphill; and brother, Cleveland McCoy, Jr. of San Jose, California.
