Johnny Maurice Gee was the owner and operator of Gee Lumber Company from 1950 to 1992, playing an instrumental part in supplying lumber during the early stages of the poultry industry in Shelby County. Among his survivors are, wife, Ethel Gee of Center; children, Linda Miller, Mike Gee, David Gee and Richard Gee, all of Center; and sister, Helen Hall of California.
