Two Center teenagers escaped serious injuries when the Jeep they were traveling in didn’t negotiate a curve on a farm-to-market road near Timpson last Saturday night.
DPS Trooper Keith Jones says 17-year old Ali Caroline Baty, and a 15-year old passenger were traveling at a reported unsafe speed northbound on FM 415, about two miles off Hwy. 87, when the Jeep Rubicon left the roadway in a curve and rolled several times before coming to a rest in a drainage ditch.
Timpson Volunteer Ambulance transported the injured to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital with reported minor injuries. Trooper Jones said Baty was cited for unsafe speed.
