Quick response by three Nacogdoches County fire departments kept damage at a minimal Thursday afternoon when a Garrison Laundromat caught fire.

Owner of the business, Susan Chandler, said the laundromat had been closed, but some people have a key if they want to do laundry.

She said someone was drying clothes and left them unattended when the fire started.

Fire departments from Garrison, Appleby and Central Heights responded to the call.
