Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces pending service for 70-year old Jessie Bishop of Shelbyville, who passed away Tuesday at Nacogdoches Medical Center. 

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 46-year old Ora Verdell “Bubba” Christopher, Jr. of Nacogdoches. He passed away Monday at his residence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 Thursday at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be at 1 Friday at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Nacogdoches County, with interment at Shad Grove Cemetery in Nacogdoches County. Among Ora Verdell “Bubba” Christopher, Jr.’s survivors are, wife, Cheryl Christopher of Nacogdoches; children, Jessica Baker of Weatherford and J.D. Christopher of Nacogdoches; mother, Helen Christopher of Nacogdoches; father, Verdell Christopher of Nacogdoches; brothers, Ronald Miller, Steve Christopher and Joey Christopher, all of Nacogdoches; sisters, Tresa Ady of Nacogdoches and Kim Sherrod of New Caney; and mother of his children, Davina Morgan of Buffalo.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces a memorial service for 86-year old Jane Frances Young Smith of Garrison. She passed away Monday at the Hospice of East Texas. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Garrison. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Among Jane Frances Young Smith’s survivors are, son, Greg Smith. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Garrison Building Fund or Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 76-year old Jean Nielsen of Center. Service will be at 11 this morning at Watson & Sons Funeral Home, with interment at Jackson Cemetery in Joaquin. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Among Jean Nielsen’s survivors is a sister, Gracie Forsythe of Center; and sisters-in-law, Yvonne Hogan of Conroe and Ruth Hogan of Conroe.
