Funeral Notices: 6/20/14

 

Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors of Nacogdoches announces service for 60-year old Deborah Jean Scott-Hurst of Center. She passed away Thursday at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. Service will be at 2:30 Monday, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel in Nacogdoches, with interment at Maroney Cemetery, located off Hwy. 7 in Nacogdoches. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 Sunday at Cason Monk-Metcalf. Among Deborah Jean Scott-Hurst’s survivors are, son, Justin Hurst of San Marcos; mother, Marjorie Scott of Houston; and two sisters, Majorie Bartlett of Houston and Patricia Eagar of Maui, Hawaii.

 

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 60-year old Mrs. Shirley McClelland Wilson of Shelbyville. Service will be at 12 noon Saturday at Triumph Church of Center, with interment at Rather Cemetery in Shelbyville. Among Shirley McClelland Wilson’s survivors are, husband, Donald Wilson of Missouri City; two daughters, Doneshia Wilson of Missouri City and ConCynthia McClelland of Shelbyville; and son, Gervis Garrett of Houston.

 

Garrison Funeral Home announces service for 92-year old Constance Bernice Rousseau Weber of Huntsville. She passed away Tuesday at her residence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 this evening at Garrison Funeral Home. Service will be at 2 Saturday at Cole Springs Baptist Church in Garrison, with interment at Cold Springs Cemetery. Among Constance Bernice Rousseau Weber’s survivors are, children, Connie Sandel of Huntsville, Glen Weber of New Waverly, Gilda Ann Ballard of Porter, Carl Weber of Coldspring and Sheila Schlinder of Huffman; and sisters, Opal Chandler of Garrison, Ann Janette Westbrook of Louisville, KY, and Florine Parker of Kilgore.

 

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 84-year old Alvester Hubbard of Center. Service will be at 2 Saturday at Community Funeral Home Chapel in Center, with interment at Blount Chapel Cemetery in Center. Among Alvester Hubbard’s survivors are, 4 sisters, Mary Ruth Garrett, Edith Thomas and Billie Harris, all of Center, and Laura Lee Moore of Lake Charles; and two brothers, Randy Hubbard of Center and James Moore, Jr. of Lake Charles.

 

Sadler Funeral Services in Nacogdoches announces service for 24-year old Thaddeus Tyler Myles. Service will be at 2 Saturday at Martinsville School Gym, with burial at Mount Gillion Cemetery, Nacogdoches County. He passed away Wednesday in Lufkin, from injuries received in a swimming accident in July of 2013 at Camp Tonkawa, near Garrison. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 today at Sadler Funeral Services in Nacogdoches.
