Today is Memorial Day…

There are several Memorial Day observances being held this morning.

The annual Timpson Memorial Day observance will be at 10 this morning on the downtown Park Plaza in Timpson. The event is sponsored by American Legion Post 90, and Timpson ISD staff and students.

In Center at 11 this morning, VFW Post 8904 & the Ladies Auxiliary will hold their annual Memorial Day program at the historic courthouse; and in San Augustine, American Legion Post 387, VFW 9313 and Historical Society will host the annual Memorial Day observance in the Museum Theater and at the Courthouse Square in San Augustine starting at 11.
