The third quarterly Ambassador meeting was held Wednesday, July 25 at Sombrero's with Ambassador President, Andi Foster, presiding.  There were 14 members and three Chamber staff present.  David Chadwick gave the invocation.   
   
President Foster reviewed events that were held during the third quarter and congratulated all Ambassadors for the hours that they volunteered in helping with the events.
         
Each quarter, individual Ambassadors receive a Certificate of Recognition for the most hours volunteered.  For the 3rd quarter, Andi Foster, Vieux Carre' Photography, on Team S.A.S.S. was recognized for 13 hours; Sandra Gray, Shelby Savings Bank, on Team Mixin' It Up, for 13.5 hours; Meg Camp, Edward Jones, for 13 hours and Hollie Adams, Focused Care of Center, on Team Dazed and Confused, for 10.5 hours.
 
Team Mixin' It Up received the "Traveling Chicken" trophy for the most hours in the quarter with 66.5 hours. Team members are Allison Sanford, team captain, Shoop Financial; J.J. Ford, co-captain, ShelbyCountyToday.com; Cancee Lester, Panola College; Lori Davis and Sandra Gray, Shelby Savings Bank; Jesse Wiggins, Wiggins Farms; Dot Golding; Tee Polley; David Chadwick, Farmers State Bank and Billie Sue Payne with Payne Rentals.
