The first week of the Summer Reading/Learning Program at the Fannie Brown Booth Library was a great success with Puppetwise and “Drumming at the Library.”  And we have two more great programs scheduled for this week.

Thursday, June 14th, at 10:30 a.m., the Center Police Department will present the program featuring their K-9 Officers for ages 4-8 year of age.  Then at 2:00 p.m., the Tweens program will be “Don’t Break That!”  Did you ever get a new toy when you were growing up and the first thing your parents said was, “Don’t you break that!”? Well, This week, the Tweens will get the chance to “ break that.” They will be taking things apart and maybe even putting them back together again. This is for ages 9-13 years of age.

Reading logs are available to be picked up at the library.  Our summer program is sponsored by the Center Noon Lions Club.
