The Office of Multicultural Affairs Caucus is calling for proposals for the OMA Diversity Conference, which is scheduled for Feb. 9, 2018. Faculty or staff members or students interested in presenting can find the proposal forms here or at Forms are due by Wednesday, Dec. 13.
Conference attendees include students and professional staff and faculty members from various institutions across Texas. The theme for this year’s conference is "Embracing Diversity: Are we really listening?"
Workshop presentations should address at least one of the following areas: multicultural education, leadership, gender identity, ethnicity, race, ability/disability, religion, sexual orientation, social issues and/or social justice. Other diversity and multiculturalism topics may be written in the category on the workshop proposal form.
